What's Covered

  • Film delamination from factory-applied paint
  • Yellowing or discoloration of the film
  • Cracking or hazing of the film surface
  • Bubbling caused by manufacturing defects
  • Loss of self-healing properties within warranty period

What's Not Covered

  • Damage from improper installation or DIY application
  • Physical damage from accidents, abrasion, or misuse
  • Damage caused by automatic car washes with harsh brushes
  • Improper care or use of non-recommended cleaning products
  • Normal wear and tear after warranty period
  • Paint damage underneath the film

Film Care Instructions

Proper care extends the life of your PPF and keeps your warranty valid.

Washing

  • Use a pH-neutral shampoo — avoid acidic or alkaline cleaners
  • Hand wash with a soft microfiber mitt
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water
  • Avoid direct high-pressure spraying on film edges
  • Pat dry with a clean microfiber towel — do not rub aggressively

Waxing & Coating

  • Apply a non-abrasive, PPF-compatible spray wax every 3 months
  • Avoid carnauba-based wax directly on film edges
  • Do not use clay bars or cutting compounds on the film
  • Ceramic coatings can be applied — consult your installer first
  • Test any new product on a small hidden area first

Maintenance

  • Remove bird droppings and insect residue promptly
  • Clean tree sap with a dedicated remover before it hardens
  • Use warm water to activate self-healing on minor scratches
  • Inspect edges periodically — re-seal any lifting with professional help
  • Do not peel or lift the film yourself

Important: The first 7 days after installation are critical. Avoid washing the vehicle, parking in direct rain, or applying any products during this curing period. Follow your installer's specific post-install instructions.
